THIS WEEK'S STORY:
"Walk-In"

This week, a story from guest podcasters Arlene Radasky and Rhonda R. Carpenter. A little horror to brighten your day. And stay tuned after the episode for a promo from these two authors.

Arlene Radasky lives in the small town of Goleta, situated next to Santa Barbara, California with her husband and two cats. She has two grown daughters and two grandsons.

She has traveled extensively, following her husband on some of his many business trips. Ancient history has always been a love of hers and after seeing two bog bodies, one in Denmark and one in London, their voices pooled together in her imagination to form the story of The Fox. She believes she has lived many lives and can feel other voices coming to the surface. The Fox is her first novel and she knows there will be others. She has had fun recently writing several short stories for HorrorAddicts.com and has dabbled with a few poems.

She is now doing research for her next novel, Sea Hawk, the story of a woman born in Skara Brea, Scotland about 5000 years ago and her life's adventure. Find out more at www.radasky.com.

Rhonda R. Carpenter is an award winning Clinical Hypnotherapist specializing in Past Life Regression as well as a renowned Psychic, the 5th generation in a long line of powerfully clairvoyant women. Her first fiction fantasy novel was released in 2008. She lives and works in the mountains of Southern California. THIS WEEK'S STORY:
"The Pink Tower" by Ed Parrot

The longest story of the Intercast Season One collection. This is a heist story, but with a few twists. A lone protagonist (for the most part). And an Edward G. Talbot sort of ending. If you haven't figured it out by now, that means not everyone lives happily ever after. Enjoy!

THIS WEEK'S STORY:
"Unexpected Legacy" by Mldred Cady

Another guest podcaster this week, making her podcasting debut. Mildred slaves at tech support by weekday and indulges in a bunch of things at night and weekends- D&D, steampunk, the SCA, reading, ren faires, following her musician fiancé, and stalking the works of several podcast authors like they're necessary components for life itself. She doesn't have a podcast of her own, but frequently contributes feedback to JD Sawyer's Antithesis and Chris Lester's Metamor City. She's also the Radioactive RPG staffer for the Horror Addicts podcast (and needs to get off her ass and review another game for it).

This is her first story to be published that isn't just on her livejournal accounts or back in the her high school creative writing class magazine.

Feedback for the story can be sent to mildred.cady@gmail.com

EPISODE THIRTEEN - HORWAR STORY
Mar 17, 2009

Intercast Logo Listen:

THIS WEEK'S STORY:
"HORWAR STORY" by Greg Crites

This is it. The FINAL episode of Intercast Season One. We end things with one of our favorite podcasters, Greg Crites. The man is rude, crude, irreverent, and one hell of a good writer. And hilarious. Did I mention that we're jealous? Plus he writes while listening to AC/DC, so you know he's got his priorities in order.

The story is, well, you kind of need to listen. But let's just say it's a humorous take on the defense industry. You can find out more about Greg and his work at www.veinarmor.com

Music for the story provide by Kevin Macleod-Zombie Hoodoo, and licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution-2.5 License.

As for Edward G. Talbot, we're hard at work completing our next novel. Either that or another fiction project we have in mind will be coming your way as a podcast sometime this summer. Listen to the chat at the end of the episode for more details. We'll be sending out periodic updates and other stuff from time to time in the feed, so stay subscribed!
